The tubing spool is an equipment that is attached to the smallest casing string or uppermost casing head. It is used to seal the annular space between the casing and tubing. There are a variety of tubing spools available in metals such as high manganese steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel. TC series feature a versatile straight bore design for single and multiple completions in working pressures through 20,000 psi. This design accepts all TC series tubing hangers and easily converts from a single completion to multiple completion with the addition of an alignment pin or pins.
Optional Bottom Preparations, Outlets, Options
TC series tubing spools can be furnished with integral "OO", "P" and "PP" seals, "Xbushing,"PE" bushing, "4-0" bushing, and metal-to-metal preparations. Standard outlets are studded, but can be furnished with flanged or threaded outlets. Available options include clamp hubs. TC series tubing spools accept a wide range of tubing hanger styles including mandrel and wrap-around. CEPAI's TC series tubing hangers are available for tubing sizes ranging from 2-3/8" through 4-1/2", in nominal od sizes from 7-1/16" through 13-5/8".
TC Tubing Spools are used only with single string TC Series Tubing Hangers and packoffs.
TCM, and TC-60 Tubing Spools can be used with all TC Series Tubing Hangers and packoffs, both single and dual-split style.
