PFF gate valves are designed and manufactured according to API Spec 6A and NACE MR0175 standards. The external end connection is a standard flange connection, or it can be a threaded connection or other special structural connection, which is an important part of the oil and gas wellhead device, the Christmas tree and various manifolds.
PFF gate valves are freely fitted between the metal gate and the metal valve seat plane, and sealed by the sealing grease and under the action of the medium. The inlet (upstream) sealing surface acts, so the valve seat and gate plate are subjected to line pressure. The valve stem is lifted and lowered during the switching process, and has a switch display function. The upper and lower flanges and the valve body are bolted. The sealing ring is made of pressure self-sealing gasket, which is safe and reliable. The lower part of the gate plate is connected with a guide rod, to avoid the rise and fall of the valve stem causing the valve chamber pressure to rise and the seal grease to drain.The upper sheath is provided with an grease nipple specially lubricated for the bearing, which is convenient for filling the grease on the spot, and the vent hole is arranged on the side to observe the filling condition of the grease. In order to prevent the intrusion of dirt, the discharge hole is usually covered with an O-ring. The valve body is made by integral die forging without any welding and has high structural strength.
