Power tong XQ140/12Y （API Model）
Summary
XQ140/12Y power tong for well servicing, as a new model of open-type power tong, is used in quick making-up and breaking-out tubing thread in oil-field well repairing. The master tong is combined with the backup tong directly. The product applies to oil tube, small drill pipe and small casing ranging from 73mm to 140mm(2 7/8"～5 1/2") and can be used in the oil fields of land and offshore. It is featured by simple structure, easy operation, wide usage and large output torque thus reducing the labor strength and meanwhile improving the work efficiency and well servicing quality.
Torque gauge can be chosen to show, record and control the data.

Main Structure and Working Principle
XQ140/12Y power tong for well servicing is composed of master tong, backup tong and air cooled hydraulic power unit (options). When it works, the backup tong clamps coupling or joint under the action of the backup tong cylinder, and the master tong clamps the pipe string and then the hydraulic motor rotates clockwise or anticlockwise through manual reversing valve, thus achieving making up or breaking out.
